Anthony J. Bonomo, Esq. is Chief Executive Officer of Administrators for the Professions, Inc. (AFP) and Board Member of Pennsylvania Physicians' Reciprocal Insurers (Pennsylvania PRI). Mr. Bonomo has been with AFP since 1985. Prior to that time, he served as a litigator on medical malpractice and tort claims. Mr. Bonomo received his Juries Doctorate Degree from St. John’s University School of Law, NY and his B.A. in Political Science from St. John’s University, NY.
Gerald Dolman, Esq. is President of Administrators for the Professions, Inc. (AFP), and a Board Member of Pennsylvania Physicians' Reciprocal Insurers (Pennsylvania PRI). Mr. Dolman has been with AFP since February 1999. Prior to that time, he had been AFP's outside counsel since the formation and licensing of Physicians’ Reciprocal Insurers (PRI) in 1982. Mr. Dolman's legal career had been spent representing insurers in connection with regulatory matters.
Carl Bonomo is Executive Vice President of Administrators for the Professions, Inc. (AFP). Mr. Bonomo has previously served as Vice President of Citicorp. His responsibilities were to oversee Citicorp’s foreign currency division. On an annual basis, Mr. Bonomo was responsible for a budget of approximately $50 million and oversaw offices from Hawaii to Europe, encompassing over 350 employees. He has extensive experience in all aspects of budget and office management. Mr. Bonomo left Citicorp to serve as Sales Manager of Equity Settlement Services, a National title insurance and real-estate settlement company.
Wesley Merritt was named President of Professional Medical Administrators, LLC. (PMA) in September 2005. Mr. Merritt graduated from Guilford College in 1994 with a Bachelors Degree in Sports Medicine. Mr. Merritt joined Administrators for the Professions, Inc. (AFP) in 1996 as an underwriter for the Dental Malpractice Program. In February of 2000, Mr. Merritt moved from underwriting to the reinsurance side and joined First Professionals Insurance Company (FPIC) Intermediaries, Inc., an in-house reinsurance intermediary responsible for all companies of the FPIC Insurance Group including PRI and Pennsylvania PRI. Mr. Merritt was named Vice President of FPIC Intermediaries in 2004.
Nicole Lombardo is the Senior Vice President for Professional Medical Administrators, LLC. (PMA). Ms. Lombardo joined PMA as an underwriter in 1999. In 2004 Ms. Lombardo was named Vice President/Director of Underwriting for PMA. Ms. Lombardo was promoted to her current position in September of 2005. Ms. Lombardo is currently pursuing a Charted Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation.
Timothy P. Daugherty is the Director of Claims for Professional Medical Administrators, LLC. (PMA) and Administrators for the Professions, Inc. (AFP). Mr. Daugherty earned his BA from Immaculate Heart College in 1978 with a concentration in Pre-Med. Prior to joining AFP and PMA, he was Vice President of Primary Claims at New York Medical Malpractice Insurance Association and was most recently President and Chief Operating Officer of Administrators for the Professions of Delaware, a TPA service specializing in Professional Liability Insurance. Mr. Daugherty has 27 years of experience in the insurance industry.
Valerie A. Pizzullo is the Vice President of Claims for Administrators for the Professions, Inc. (AFP). Ms. Pizzullo joined AFP in 1986 and spent seven years as the Director of Claims, during which time she was responsible for the daily operation of the department and was instrumental in building the structure of the department. Prior to coming to AFP, Ms. Pizzullo spent 10 years in hospital/physician-based management.
Marjorie O. Thomas is Senior Vice President for Risk Management and Underwriting for Administrators for the Professions, Inc. (AFP). Ms. Thomas joined AFP in 1985, after several years in hospital administration and establishing the risk management department at Bellevue Hospital in New York City. She holds a Masters degree in Public Administration and has earned professional designations in both risk management and underwriting. Ms. Thomas is also a member of the faculty of the Bayer Institute for Health Care Communication.
Christine Quinn is Director of Risk Management Services for Administrators for the Professions, Inc. (AFP). Christine joined AFP in 1987 and has been in her current role as Director of Risk Management Services since 1993. Prior to joining AFP, Mrs. Quinn, a registered nurse, worked in the cardio thoracic Intensive Care Unite at New York Hospital-Cornell Medial Center in Manhattan for over 4 years as a staff nurse/senior staff nurse. She has a BSN from SUNY Stony Brook and a MPA with a concentration in Health Care from LIU’s C.W. Mrs. Quinn also holds an ARM She is also a Fellow of the American Society for Healthcare Risk Management.
