Loss Free Discount (Claims Free Discount)

An additional 5% primary premium discount will be applied to any physician with no indemnity payments in the past 5 years. An additional 10% primary premium discount will be applied to any physician with no indemnity payments in the past 10 years.

We gladly accept National Practitioner Data Bank (NPDB) “Response to Self-Query” reports to apply this discount. A list of prior carriers along with their specific policy periods should be included as well so our underwriters can identify 5 or 10 full years of coverage with no gaps.

The NPDB “Response to Self-Query” report can be obtained by visiting http://www.npdb-hipdb.com. Simply click the link on the top right titled “Perform a Self-Query” and follow the directions.
