MCARE
Medical Care Availability and Reduction of Error (MCARE) is mandatory excess coverage that is included with every MCARE eligible policy. The limits of liability are $500K per claim/$1.5M annual aggregate primary limit with an additional $500K per claim/$1.5M annual aggregate excess MCARE limit. This brings the total policy limits of liability to the required $1M per claim/$3M annual aggregate.
